The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan Honoring Rev. Dr. Willie Wilson’s 44 Years of Service to the Community
Union Temple Baptist Church- Washington, DC, July 30, 2017
In a demonstration of 40 years of Christian-Muslim brotherhood, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan shared the love and admiration he has for his longtime brother and friend, the Reverend Dr. Willie Wilson, during an event at Union Temple Baptist Church celebrating 44 years of Rev. Wilson’s service to the community of Washington, D.C. The Minister also addressed the source of the problems we experience when trying to be good Christians: when we do good in the name of the slave masters who taught a certain version of “Christianity”—a version that Christ himself would reject—that makes Black people to this day a tool and a slave. We need a Saviour to deliver us from that mindset and practice.
