America Remarking that he could not come so close and not stop by after a weekend of inspirational messages and meetings across the bridge in Newark, New Jersey, Minister Farrakhan visited New York’s historic Muhammad Mosque No. 7 in Harlem to speak to the community. As a result of the overwhelming response once word spread that Minister Farrakhan would speak there on Sunday morning – the crowd that assembled was more than the building could hold. To accommodate all those who came to hear him speak, Minister Farrakhan delivered two messages – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Drawing from words uttered by Jesus “Love ye one another, even as I have loved you” Minister Farrakhan stressed the importance of taking God’s word to the people and sharing it with those who are in need. Additionally, Minister Farrakhan held a leadership meeting with close to 200 leaders from New York City in preparation for the 10th Anniversary of the Million Man March in October 2005. |
